Habitat Prize

METU İzmit and Değirmendere Earthquake Settlements project, the greatest civil society action in Turkey was awarded the “United Nations Habitat” Prize in 2000.

Eymir Culture Foundation was founded in 1986 by the METU members in Istanbul to “serve education”.
